What we did on our summer vacation ;)

*insert usual sorry I do not blog more often statement here*

The hubbs and I took a week off from our day jobs last week and man was it nice. It is actually a little painful to be back to the daily grind. I did not take a ton of photos. I felt we all needed a vacation, even from the camera. I guess also since the business has really taken off I do not break it out as much as I used to around the house. I think deep inside the family is cheering about that one. ;)

• We played in the park and around the house, but did NOT go to any vacation destinations. I guess it really is the summer of the “staycation” like the commercials say.


• We went to live music in our own little park


• We went to live music at the zoo with the other half of “Red Whine & Boo”


• We spent a morning at Miss Red’s brand new preschool she will be starting in September. (Dang when did my baby get so big!

• I shot 2 fun weddings and one cool local family. With the camera of course!


• We cleaned mommy’s room. Umm 3 year olds love to fold and sort clothes. SCORE


• We caught up on our library books, returned old ones and got some new.


• We rented a bunch of fun Latin music from the library and had dance parties.


• We watched, Tivo’d and re-watched the opening of the Olympic Ceremonies.


• We are still watching all of the events and loving it!


• We cleaned out some Red clothes and passed them down the “hand me down” line.


• We scored some new dress up clothes from a neighbor and had princess tea parties.


• We slept in and cuddles A LOT.

I heart vacation, why is it over again? Ok I did take some photos, so here ya go!
